"The Rap: Own It! Nail It!" is the song that starts Act 2 of Starlight Express. It was written for the 2017 Workshop in London and was added to the Bochum in 2018 as part of the 30th anniversary rewrites, replacing previous versions of "The Rap".
Analysis[]
This version of The Rap is closest to "The Rap: Check It Out, Can You Believe This?, following the same structure and some lines un-changed such as "All my software is Designer" and "Boil with the oil or lose with the fuse", but with modernised slang and new orchestrations.
